A premium rebuild starts before the box leaves.
TurboRebuilds supports owners and professional shops across the United States with a clear intake, careful packaging guidance, realistic scheduling, and documented communication for Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, and European-performance turbos.
A clear path from intake to return.
Start before shipping
Send the turbo tag, vehicle and engine details, symptoms, modifications, photos, and your contact or shop work-order information.
Receive shipping instructions
Confirm the current destination and what paperwork should travel with the unit. Do not ship an unidentified turbo without prior contact.
Protect a dense, valuable part
Drain residual fluids as appropriate, cover openings, immobilize the turbo with dense cushioning, and use a strong outer carton.
Identification and evaluation
After check-in, the turbo is identified, disassembled as appropriate, inspected, and measured so the recommended scope can be prepared.
Review scope, parts, and price
We communicate material findings and the proposed work. The rebuild schedule begins after inspection and parts and pricing are approved.
Complete, document, and ship
Approved work, outsourced balancing when required, final QC, documentation, packing, and return shipping complete the job.
Plan on roughly 8–12 business days after approval.
For many approved rebuilds, the working expectation is approximately 8–12 business days after inspection is complete and the required parts, scope, and pricing are approved. This is a planning range, not a guaranteed completion date.
- The clock does not begin on carrier delivery
- Inspection and approval happen before rebuild scheduling
- Parts availability can extend the timeline
- Outsourced VSR balancing requires coordination time
- Complex damage or application changes may require a revised estimate
Condition, parts, and application
Severe wheel or housing damage, uncommon components, paired-turbo matching, prior modifications, special configuration needs, delayed approvals, holidays, carrier delays, and outside balancing capacity can affect completion.
When something material changes, the goal is a realistic update—not an unrealistic promise.
Keep the unit clean, dry, and immobile.
Seal and contain
Drain residual oil as appropriate, place the unit in a protective bag, cover open ports, and prevent loose debris from entering the housings.
Cushion for weight
Use dense packing material on every side. The turbo should not touch the carton or move when the sealed box is gently shifted.
Identify the job inside
Include your name or business, phone, email, vehicle information, turbo number, symptoms, and project or work-order reference.
Keep every turbo tied to its job
Label paired units and multiple cores clearly. Use a separate intake sheet or work-order reference for each application, and note left/right or installation position where relevant.
Close the loop with the installer in mind.
Return timing and carrier details are communicated when the job is complete and ready to ship. The installing shop should review the failure cause, related oil and air systems, debris risk, and application-specific installation procedures before the rebuilt turbo goes back into service.
Inspection informs the scope—it does not guarantee every answer.
A turbocharger can document evidence of a failure, but it cannot always diagnose every issue elsewhere in the vehicle. Final pricing also depends on identification, internal condition, parts availability, and the approved application-specific work.
Approve clearly.
Build correctly.

We’ll confirm the intake details and current shipping instructions so the unit arrives connected to the right project.
