Bentley Continental W12 Turbo Rebuilds
Inspection-led K16 turbocharger rebuilding for selected Bentley Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur 6.0-liter W12 applications—built around the actual left/right tags and the condition of the customer’s pair.
Bentley W12 K16 pair teardown and inspection
Preserve the Original Application Hardware
Bentley W12 turbochargers are a strong rebuild candidate when the housings and application-specific hard parts remain serviceable. The value is not simply replacing bearings—it is preserving the correct left/right configuration while documenting what each unit actually needs.
We evaluate the pair from the full BorgWarner/KKK tags, vehicle information, symptom history and teardown findings. That protects the quote from catalog assumptions and exposes mixed, previously repaired or physically damaged hardware before the rebuild is approved.
Bentley W12 K16 Pair Rebuilds Starting at $1,995
A clear public starting point for eligible customer-supplied pairs, with final scope based on the condition of both units.
From $1,995 per pair
Bentley W12 K16 pair rebuilds start at $1,995 for eligible, rebuildable customer-supplied cores. Final pricing is established after teardown and inspection. Damaged wheels, shafts, actuators, housings, machining, missing parts, prior non-standard repairs, shipping and taxes are additional when required. No additional work is performed without approval.
A $295 pair inspection and teardown fee applies if the repair is declined. The fee is credited in full toward an approved rebuild.
Selected 6.0-Liter W12 K16 Families
Bentley and BorgWarner used multiple numbers and supersessions across years and output levels. These are service reference points, not a guarantee of interchangeability.
6.0 W12 twin turbo
Early and later Continental GT applications include side-specific K16 assemblies. Speed and other output variants may differ internally.
Convertible W12 applications
GTC model designation alone does not establish the rotating group or housing combination. Both physical tags are required.
Selected W12 applications
Flying Spur 6.0-liter W12 applications share related K16 families while retaining number and configuration differences.
What the Inspection Covers
Each turbo is measured and documented individually. The final proposal distinguishes normal wear from damage that requires additional hard parts or makes a core uneconomical to rebuild.
- Shaft, turbine wheel and compressor wheel condition
- Journal bearing, thrust and sealing component wear
- Center housing oil-path and heat evidence
- Compressor and turbine housing contact or cracking
- Wastegate and actuator configuration observations
- Left/right part-number relationship
- Prior repairs, mixed components and missing hardware
Strong Core Parts Support
Major K16 bearing and seal components are available for confirmed Bentley W12 turbo families. That provides a dependable foundation for a professional rebuild when the rotating hard parts and housings pass inspection.
Damaged wheels, shafts, actuators, housings, machining, missing components and non-standard previous repairs are additional. Availability and cost depend on the exact number, and added work is quoted before it is performed.
Correct the System Cause Before Reinstallation
Oil supply or drain problems, crankcase pressure, intake contamination, charge-air leaks, exhaust restrictions and control faults can damage the replacement work. Include the shop’s diagnostic findings and any debris or fluid observations with the pair.
For modified vehicles, send the tune, boost target, fuel changes, exhaust and intake configuration. The rebuild scope cannot compensate for an operating condition outside the turbocharger’s intended range.
Before You Ship the Pair
Which Bentley models do you consider?
Selected Continental GT, Continental GTC and Flying Spur 6.0-liter W12 K16 applications are considered after both physical turbo tags are reviewed.
Do both turbochargers need to be sent?
Yes. A high-value twin-turbo system should be inspected as a pair so differences in wear, contamination and prior repair work are visible.
Can you quote from the Bentley part number?
The Bentley number is useful, but we also need the complete BorgWarner/KKK tag, side position and clear photographs of both assemblies.
What can make a core non-rebuildable?
Severe turbine-housing damage, unusable rotating hard parts, unavailable side-specific components or extensive previous machining can make replacement more sensible. Inspection determines that decision.
Do you accept work from independent Bentley shops?
Yes. We support owners and specialist repair facilities nationwide with coordinated inbound and return shipping.
Keep the quote tied to the hardware.
Send both tags, vehicle details, symptoms and photos to start the application review.
