Precision rebuilds begin with evidence.
TurboRebuilds takes an individual, application-aware approach to Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, and European-performance turbochargers—built around inspection, measurements, controlled assembly, outsourced VSR balancing, and documented quality checks.
One unit. One inspection. One documented path.
Identify the application
Part numbers, vehicle details, turbo position, modifications, symptoms, and previous work are recorded before the rebuild scope is defined.
Disassemble and assess
The unit is disassembled for individual inspection. Wear, damage, contamination, contact, and component condition are reviewed rather than assumed.
Document critical findings
Relevant dimensions and clearances are measured against the needs of the application. Findings inform parts selection and the recommended work.
Confirm scope and parts
We communicate the proposed rebuild path after inspection. Work proceeds after the scope, parts availability, and pricing are reviewed and approved.
Build for the application
Cleanliness, component fit, fastener control, rotating assembly details, and application-specific configuration guide the assembly process.
Balance, QC, and document
Where required, VSR balancing is completed by a specialized outside partner. Final checks, photographs, and build documentation close the process.
Quality control follows the evidence.
Premium turbocharger work depends on repeatable checks at each stage. The exact measurements and procedures vary by unit, but the discipline does not.
- Identification and configuration recorded at intake
- Wear and damage documented during disassembly
- Relevant component dimensions and clearances measured
- Oil paths, rotating components, and housings inspected
- Assembly details reviewed for the specific application
- Final condition documented with photos and build notes
A record you can review
Available documentation may include incoming-condition photos, inspection observations, selected measurements, parts used, balancing information, assembly notes, and final photographs appropriate to the job.
The exact report content depends on the turbocharger, its condition, and the approved scope.
Specialized verification, clearly communicated
TurboRebuilds does not represent VSR balancing as an in-house or same-day service. When VSR balancing is part of the approved process, the rotating assembly is sent to a specialized outside balancing partner and the scheduling is reflected honestly in the turnaround estimate.
The right partner is part of doing the work correctly.
Using a dedicated balancing resource is a quality decision, not a shortcut. It adds coordination time, and we account for that rather than promising an unrealistic schedule.
Porsche, McLaren, Ferrari, and European performance.
Porsche turbochargers
Factory and modified configurations, single or paired units, and generation-specific details are reviewed before the rebuild plan is finalized.
McLaren and Ferrari turbos
High-performance applications demand accurate identification, condition-based inspection, disciplined assembly, and clear coordination with the installing specialist.
European-performance applications
Vehicle configuration, tuning, supporting systems, and failure history are considered because the turbo does not operate in isolation.
Premium work includes honest updates.
Inspection can reveal damage or parts needs that are not visible from the outside. We communicate material findings, explain the proposed path, and update timing when parts availability or outside balancing changes the schedule.
Measure.
Verify.
Send the tag, application, and failure story.
We’ll use those details to prepare the intake and explain what happens after the turbo arrives.
